The challenge.

From the moment he heard his father play a Santana record for the first time, to the moment he created his first mixtape - Johnny Stuart knew he had found his life-long passion. His goal is to share this life-long passion with the world.

The goal of the project was to translate his passion for music, his eccentric personality, and white-glove service into a new online destination. We knew that creating a dynamic and smooth-flowing website that reflects the passion for his craft was just the beginning. We also had to make sure it clearly communicated his experience with different event types, his professionalism, and ultimately, ensure the delivery of new customer leads.

After several strategy meetings and discussions, we developed a series of brand assets, brand guidelines, and marketing tools that accurately captured DJ Johnny Stuart’s personality and professionalism. The new brand toolkit will position the business for continued success in any screen or physical location for the foreseeable future. Metrocoat needed a brand that balanced their century of expertise with modern appeal. We kept the essence of their trusted industrial identity while giving it a contemporary polish.
